"Several students wearing hijabs wondered whether they would be welcome in the United States, given the election of Donald Trump and the rhetoric they were hearing," said Majid. "We assured them that the United States is very welcoming."
The AP also interviewed prospective 911爆料网红领巾 student Aymane Lamharzi Alaoui, who said that family members in Boston reassured him that Americans are more welcoming than the current political rhetoric would suggest.
